Overview 

Supervisory management requires a set of ‘soft’ competencies that have not necessarily been developed through a technical role or qualification.  This programme is designed to provide participants with key supervisory skills for success, stimulating them into action as leaders and allowing them to be more efficient in their own roles. 

The objectives of this programme therefore are:

  • to develop the skills required for effective management of self as well as an enhanced self-awareness of own supervisory style
  • to develop the skills required for effective people management
  • to develop the skills required to achieve, sustain and drive results through the effective management of self and others.

Trainer Profile

Phil Kildea is a trainer, business mentor and personal coach with over sixteen years training experience. He works with clients from a broad range of industries in the private and public sectors. He specialises in Management Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Customer Care, Selling Skills and Personal Development. He has several qualifications including a Bachelor Of Business Studies (1st Class Hons), a Graduateship in Marketing from MII, a National Diploma in Personnel Management.

 

Phil also lectures part time in Strategic Management & Business Policy for the Institute of Public Administration.
